A conversion of a Listed Townhouse in a conservation area to provide luxury accommodation within a historic setting.

The work involved the conversion of a protected building into apartments, involving sensitive additions and the recreation of many original features. The original building was not designed to accommodate many aspects of contemporary life and the creation of a modern environment proved challenging alongside the ornate, victorian features. Much of the work involved tracking back through a century of fashionable interiors to establish what was original and what had been applied by subsequent designers.
